Common Questions
“Why do I feel sore after my massage?”
That’s completely normal. Your muscles just released built-up tension and toxins, much like a workout. Drink water, stretch lightly, and let your body rest. Within a couple of days, you’ll feel looser and lighter.
“Is it okay to shower right after?”
If you had a massage — yes, after a few hour or so. If you had a scalp spa, wait 4–6 hours to allow oils and serums to absorb. You’ll get the full benefit when you let them do their job.
“I feel a little emotional — is that weird?”
Not at all. The body stores emotion in muscles and fascia, and when that tension releases, so do feelings. Think of it as your nervous system exhaling. It’s healing — don’t suppress it.
“How often should I come back?”
For maintenance, every 3–4 weeks keeps the body balanced. If you’re working through chronic pain, stress, or scalp buildup, every 2 weeks may be ideal until we stabilize your system.
“Can I work out later today?”
Better to wait until tomorrow. Your muscles need time to recover and rehydrate — pushing too soon can undo the good work we just did.
“What should I do if I feel lightheaded or tired?”
Totally normal. Your circulation and lymphatic flow just shifted. Move slowly, drink water or herbal tea, and eat something nourishing. Your energy will balance itself out within a few hours.
“Will the oils make my hair greasy?”
Scalp spa oils are nutrient-based and designed to absorb fully. You might feel a light sheen, but it’s feeding your follicles, not coating them. Once you rinse, your hair will feel soft, light, and healthy.
“Can I book my next session now?”
Yes, and I recommend it — my calendar fills quickly. Booking in advance secures your preferred time and keeps your self-care consistent, not just reactive.
“Do you take tips?”
Gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. The best tip is showing up for yourself regularly — and sharing your experience with someone who could use the same care.
